Job description

What you will do in your working day

Duties of the Administrative Assistant include:

Inputting data onto a range of different systems.
Organizing schedules and events.
Maintain office requirements and assisting in daily office needs.
Answer and direct phone calls (Interacting with both staff and service users)
Alert management of important information (Potential security issues, Appointments, Safeguarding issues, Reported incidents).
Managing paperwork.
Plan and attend various meetings. Take detailed minutes (Via Office/Teams).
Managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Meeting deadlines.
Provide general support to visitors.
Write and distribute numerous emails.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administration qualification. English and maths Functional skills at Level 2, if required. Training by day release with Shipley College.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
The employer is looking to offer a permanent position on a successful completion of the apprenticeship.
