VANRATH are partnered with a recognisable Professional Services firm based in Belfast city centre, who are recruiting a Senior Finance Manager to join their team. The Senior Finance Manager will be reporting directly to the CFO and will assume responsibility for the full finance function. This will include coordination of the month end processes, along with preparation of yearly accounts, and leading the audit process. The Senior Finance Manager will oversee a high performing team, looking after AP/AR/Cash/Payroll, it is imperative to have previous experience of managing a team.

This is a 15-month contract role to cover a long-term gap within the team and could lead into a permanent contract.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years' experience of senior leadership roles
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence others
• High level of IT skills, including MS Excel
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Oversee and review the work of the finance team
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, presenting to senior board members
• Coordination of quarterly reports
• Coordination of audit
• Weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting/management
• Project accounting
