Technical Service Coordinator

Job Purpose
Your role will be to support our Marine & Protective Coatings customers by providing assistance and guidance to our technical service team to enable execution of duties, coordinating local dry dockings and allocating resources for projects as well as organising afloat inspections upon request.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide technical advice/information on products.
• Allocate technical support to each project.
• Collaborate with ship agents/customers to coordinate vessel afloat inspections.
• Coordinating product trials/ ROV surveys for customers.
• Coach & train new & existing Technical Service Representatives
• Review reporting prior to customer submission.
• Collaborate with colleagues & external stakeholders to resolve disputes.
Job Requirements
• Extensive experience in a technical service role.
• Knowledge of the Marine Industry both M&R & New construction customer base & locations.
• Knowledge of UK shipyards, build yards, sub-contractors & inspection ports.
• An understanding of inspection skills and procedures.
