Responsibilities:
As the Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator, your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities:
Develop and organize weekly and monthly schedules of enrichment and wellbeing activities for our community.
Establish connections with residents, families, and colleagues, becoming the go-to person for creating memorable experiences.
Personalize activities based on residents' hobbies and interests, ensuring a tailored and enjoyable experience for each individual.
Collaborate with colleagues and families to facilitate residents in pursuing their passions and maintaining a sense of purpose.
Create a positive and vibrant living environment by organizing outings such as trips to the seaside, pub lunches, or garden mini-golf for special occasions.
Provide support to colleagues in their wellbeing, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
Lead and inspire the home in recognizing the importance of a positive and creative living atmosphere.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a care home or community setting.
Passion for enhancing the wellbeing of older adults and creating enjoyable and inclusive activities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities.
A creative mindset to inspire and engage residents in various pursuits.
Understanding of the importance of positive and collaborative team dynamics.
