Sales Assistant in a Pet supplies shop. The main responsibilities of this role include greeting customers, assisting with product choice and processing sales. Alongside the following tasks - rotate and replenish stock, keeping work areas clean and tidy, accepting stock order's and putting them away. This role will involve lifting and moving products up to 25kg in weight. .

Responsibilities

• Use of till systems/ epos and experience with completing transactions.
• Dealing with feedback and handling complaints.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent customer service skills - in person and on the telephone.
• To be confidence and courteous.
• Cash handling
• Use of EPOS and Credit card systems.
• The ability to use initiative, work well with others and be flexible with working hours.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in a fast paced retail setting is desired or from a similar industry.
• An interest in animals and their welfare

National Living Wage - £10.42; 21-22 Year Old Rate - £10.18; 18-20 Year Old Rate - £7.49; 16-17 Year Old Rate - £5.28; Apprentice Rate - £5.28;
