Our client is looking for a Steelwork Structural Engineer to join their established fabricator business within their Scotland office. Together with an attractive starting salary and a friendly working environment, there is excellent future potential with this supportive company.
The projects you’ll be working on are typically steel framed buildings, and almost all are design and build. Steelwork Structural Engineer duties include: •Design of structural sections and associated connections where required. •Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required. •Raising RFI/TQs as required. Steelwork Structural Engineer requirements: •Hold a professional Engineering qualification. •Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer, ideally on steel framed building projects. •Design and build project experience would be advantageous but is not essential. •Experience working with design software such as masterseries, CSC/Trimble Building Designer or similar is advantageous. •Good communication skills On offer for the Steelwork Structural Engineer: •A very good starting salary is on offer for the successful applicant and is negotiable dependant on experience. •Working with a secure, well established, and successful company with an excellent reputation. •A rewarding career with excellent prospects.
