Position Overview:

As a Customer Service Advisor for our Consumer and Business Loan department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our clients. This multifaceted position involves addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing guidance to clients who may be experiencing challenges with their existing loans.

Responsibilities:

Customer Communication:

Engage with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to address inquiries related to loans, account information, and general concerns.

Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding loan terms, repayment schedules, and other relevant details.

Issue Resolution:

Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Collaborate with internal departments to address complex customer concerns and provide comprehensive solutions.

Arrears Management:

Assist customers who have fallen into arrears by understanding their financial situation, discussing potential solutions, and establishing realistic repayment plans.

Empathetically guide customers through the arrear’s resolution process, demonstrating a commitment to helping them regain financial stability.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the company's database.

Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in a detailed and organised manner.

Compliance :

Stay informed about industry regulations and company policies related to loans and customer interactions.

Ensure all interactions and resolutions comply with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the financial industry.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to empathise with customers and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
