Job description
You will deliver general paediatric dietetic sessions in both the outpatient and ward setting and will be be an integral member of the Paediatric Diabetes MDT, working alongside an experienced paediatric diabetes dietitian. You will attend MDT paediatric diabetes clinics, MDT transition clinics, and joint PDSN and dietitian clinics. You will see newly diagnosed patients on the children's ward and see patients in their own home / school as required. Inpatient work will include nutritional support, enteral feeding and service to young people admitted with an eating disorder The successful applicant will work within a team of seven paediatric dietitians and will be fully supported to develop their knowledge and skills within Paediatric Dietetics. Although you will be an autonomous practitioner, you will be required to work closely with our paediatric medical, nursing and AHP colleagues.
