Job description
Orion is proud to collaborate once again with our engineering client based in Camden Town, London. Our client specializes in the design and production of imaging equipment uniquely used by the medical technology sector who are looking to embed two, talented Production Technicians.
At their London facility, they meticulously manufacture their unique product which goes through a rigorous and complex manufacturing process. As they continue to expand their production capacity across their product ranges - diligent handling and assembly of components become imperative. This includes both electronic and mechanical assemblies within a controlled environment (e.g. Clean Room etc.), alongside the thorough cleaning, testing, and packaging of these products destined for global shipment.
Why you should consider applying for the Production Technician role?
- An opportunity to be part of an independent business who single-handedly create products which have a huge influence within the Med-Tech sector
- Benefit from working as part of a small, supportive and collaborative team - they have a fantastic buddy scheme where you won't just be thrown in the deep end - you will be trained by some of the best in the business as well as have ongoing support and training as you progress.
- 25 Days Annual Leave (plus 8 for BH)
- Private Company Pension
- Company Sick Pay Policy Scheme
- Flexible working hours
- Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
What will you be doing as their newly appointed Production Technician?
- Working alongside other Production team members carefully assembling electronic component parts as well as electro-mechanical assembly
- Performing basic testing to ensure top quality of products
- Processing finished products through tightly regulated cleaning methods
- This is not a fast paced environment, you will work on between 15-25 products per day
What you need to be able to demonstrate?
- Excellent attention to detail, high level of dexterity - perhaps you are in a role at the moment which is outside of engineering/manufacturing but you fancy a change? If your current role requires you to have a strong eye for detail and you are able to work with significantly small components then this could be the job for you - such as Jewelry Maker/Repair Tech, Dental Technician, Nail Technician?
- Can comfortably commute to this location every day - due to the nature of work you need to be able to work onsite Monday to Friday
- Have the right to work in the UK - our client cannot support any immediate or future sponsorship requests
