Cover Supervisor - Bournemouth

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our client school based in Bournemouth. As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide cover for the absent teachers and support the learning and development of students across a range of subjects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to students in the absence of teachers
• Manage the classroom environment and maintain order and discipline among students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure that students receive a high-quality education
• Assist with the supervision of students during break and lunchtimes
• Contribute to the school's positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
