PA / Support Worker in Worcester, WR12. A great weekend support role available for an outgoing, enthusiastic, bubbly PA / Support Worker to assist a Creative Media Uni female student (23) with a physical disability. Up to £17.50 Gross per Hour

Driver Essential? Yes, medium sized WAV for use on duty. Automatic Drive.
Essential: *Female applicants only. Genuine passion and interest in supporting others. Confident driving long distances. Happy to travel with Daisy abroad and for weekend breaks in the UK.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 2 x 8-hour shifts per month, weekends. 10.00am to 6.00pm (flexible start and finish times depending on social event) Additional hours available during the week on an ad hoc basis

About this client/child: Daisy is 22 years old and lives independently with the support of her small PA / Support Worker team, with her family (Mum, Dad and younger sister) in Broadway, Worcester. Daisy is an intelligent young woman with a passion for travel, photography, politics, writing, shopping, and fashion. Daisy and her family live in a beautiful part of the country and share their home and land with pigs, ducks, and horses; they are very much equestrians. Daisy has cerebral palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user. Her speech is impaired, and she requires practical hands-on support with daily tasks, including personal care. Currently a Uni student, Daisy is studying Creative Media and is seeking a weekend PA / Support Worker to join her team.
Overview of role: Daisy requires practical support, such as assisting with her personal care, getting dressed, applying make-up, support with transfers and moving etc. She leads a busy, active life and her PA’s / Support Workers are there to assist her in participating in her leisure and social activities, as such it is essential that you are a confident driver with a clean license, and 21 years or older due to car insurance purposes. We can offer 2 weekend shifts per month, however, there are additional hours available to cover annual leave, and it’s essential that you enjoy travelling, as Daisy loves visiting different countries.
Who this job would suit: We require a *Female PA / Support who shares similar interests to Daisy, experience is not essential – personality fit is key! If you are fun, enthusiastic, and keen to learn – this is the role for you! This would be a great role for a student or even a Teaching Assistant looking to gain additional experience and skills.
