We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Care Home Berkeley House/Berkeley Gardens located in Pemberton, Wigan.

As part of a dedicated team, you'll help prepare and serve meals for residents.

Basic cooking and cleaning skills are essential.

Duties to include:

Support the cook in providing healthy, nutritious freshly prepared meals and snacks in line with food safety regulations.
To be aware of residents dietary needs.
To dispose of waste correctly.
Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen, including regular high and low level cleaning of surfaces and equipment.
To be a reliable & hard-working personality with a desire to learn & progress within the kitchen team.

Similar experience is desirable but not essential.

30-36 hours per week, including alternate weekends. Hours/shifts to be discussed upon interview.
