Job description

Gaffey Technical Services Ltd are recruiting for an Apprentice Manufacturing Operative. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship over the duration of 14 months.

Job Details:
• Assist with manufacturing and fabrication of components and assemblies
• Bench production operative tasks
• General housekeeping in line with H&S and general cleanliness.
• Ability to learn new skills and be trained on equipment
• Assist with product stock control duties
• Follow quality control procedures

Requirements:
• Good level of manual handling and dexterity skills necessary in order to complete work to a high degree of quality and to the expectations of the company.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels and be able to work well and cooperate well as a team member within a small friendly business environment.

GCSE Requirements:
GCSE grade 4-9 Maths
GCSE grade 4-9 English

Hours of Work:
Mon-Thu 07:30am-5pm Friday 07:30am-12:30pm / 15 min break AM & PM / 30 min lunch / 40 hours per week
