Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible individual who has a passion for midwifery. The successful candidate will have relevant clinical experience as a midwife, be able to evidence professional integrity and an honest approach to embracing new and exciting opportunities and challenges that will be obtainable as they become part of the Maternity Day Assessment Unit team. The successful candidates will play an active role in the day-to-day running of MDAU which has fully implemented the BSOTs triage system. Being able to prioritise and time manage the workload in this fast-paced environment is essential. You will be required to exhibit excellent communication skills and an ability to develop sound working relationships with women and birthing people and colleagues within and external to the Trust. Full flexibility will be required in a working roster period which will include all shift patterns, weekends, and public holidays, as well as a contribution to an on-call rota.
