Job Description
The In-house Corporate Solicitor will pick up a range of work and responsibilities including;
- Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters
- Work closely with various business units to manage legal risk
- Manage external counsel and legal fees
- Support the wider legal department and governance team
- Help support a junior lawyer in the team
The Successful Applicant
The successful In-house Corporate Solicitor should have:
- Strong Corporate experience gained with a reputable practice law firm or In-house
- A current practising certificate
- Ties to Sheffield
- Experience in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
