Pure Resourcing Solutions are delighted to be working exclusively with Techpoint in Thetford, to appoint the newly created role of Group Finance Manager. This UK based group has seen fast growth, both organically and through acquisition following PE investment in 2020 and are successfully paving the way in global supply chain transformation across the electronics manufacturing industry.
The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, qualified accountant to join the business and add value at this exciting time, as the business navigate an exciting period of transformation.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of a team of eight, while production of month end reporting is a key part of the role you will also be expected to drive improvements in process and control. This role will be instrumental in shaping how the Group Finance team operates to create a firm foundation for growth.
As Group Finance Manager you will work closely with a talented Group Financial Controller in the support and development of this function. Embedding robust policies and procedures and implementing a culture focused on output and driving simplicity and best practice in all ways of working. As well as leading the team you will work closely with function leads and the CFO in relation to central function budgets and consolidation of business budgets.
This is a wide-ranging position, with scope to make positive change and shape the function, as the business enter their next phase of growth.
The person:
I am keen to speak with professionally qualified candidates, ideally with a grounding in practice (although not essential) coupled with commercial experience. You will have experience in budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management. Strong knowledge of financial control and process improvement complemented by excellent team management and leadership skills.
