You will be responsible for all the plant, FF&E (fixed furniture and equipment), contracts and fabric of the building. Furthermore you are the Health & Safety Officer for the hotel. Job Description - Have a good understanding of building maintenance. - Manage maintenance projects and work in accordance with hotel's quality requirements, ensuring all basic upkeep and repair tasks are carried out. - Have responsibility for preventative maintenance work and carrying out regular safety and maintenance inspections across the hotel(s) to create a pleasant and safe environment for all colleagues, guests and visitors. - Manage and supervise team members in their day to day tasks, providing instructions and support, if needed. - Supervise contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements. - Attend and actively participate in Head of Department meetings. - Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, reduce equipment failure room downtime - Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. - Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the hotels under their responsibilities - Be the lead of the Health & Safety Committee for the site.
