Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a FLT Operator to join and strengthen our clients existing team in the Seal Sands area of Middlesbrough - temporary role covering annual leave.

The role will be to safely carry out operations to effectively collect, process, sort and generally manage customers waste in accordance with the customers own guidelines.

Your duties and responsibilities would include:

• Ensure routine collection and disposal of waste from around the site.

• Safe use of counter balance forklift, reach truck, van and other mobile plant
• Assist in the segregation, packaging and labelling of wastes
• Assist in the removal from site of all waste materials thereby reducing stock build up.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment check sheets as required
• Routine liaison with manager or supervisor on operational and safety aspects of work
• Signing of duty of care and hazardous waste consignment notes
• Provide operational support across the sites within the local area as required

The successful candidate must possess a counterbalance FLT Licence, with previous operating experience.

• Monday to Friday
• £11.50 per hour
