ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY The Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System will comprise the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which is the statutory body for the NHS, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which is a committee of the ICB, and brings together key health, care, community, and voluntary sector organisations across the area. The ICS has a bold ambition to deliver improved outcomes for our 1.2m population through our four Alliances, and we are placing clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realising this ambition. The MH BCYP Specialist Administrator will be integral to supporting the delivery of the core purpose of the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams by providing the statutory commissioning function for the ICB. The post holder will be supporting two teams who have clearly defined programmes of work and will be required to manage their own workload across both teams effectively. The post holder will undertake a key role in supporting the statutory commissioning functions of the ICB. The role will contribute towards the delivery, mental health and babies, children and young people function and ensure the delivery of transformational change through effective commissioning. The postholder will also work closely with the MH BCYP Administrator and have a key role in supporting the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams with their respective portfolios of work to drive transformational change and improved outcomes. COMPETENCY BASED KEY DELIVERABLES Contribute to the delivery of one or more strategic or project plans, supporting key milestones to be delivered and raising any issues associated with the delivery of plans and workstreams Working knowledge of financial processes Responsible for decisions made during the course of their duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate To be responsible for the provision of an effective and efficient administrative support Support the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams in the delivery of the statutory commissioning function of the ICB, ensuring the delivery of transformational change through effective commissioning in collaboration with providers Managing own workload whilst working across two teams and escalating any issues appropriately Provide support to meetings, committees, and work groups across the Mental Health and Babies, Children, and Young People portfolio Responsible for collating accurate and timely minutes to meetings, putting together action plans from these meetings, circulating papers to members and implementing a system of reminders and escalation to ensure actions are completed in a timely manner Manage a programme of timely development of agendas and requesting supporting papers for a variety of meetings Provide comprehensive diary management to Director Childrens, Mental Health and Neurodiversity, Deputy Director Mental Health and Deputy Director Babies, Children and Young People Attend and participate in any delegated meetings Undertake defined projects and coordination of work as required Be responsible for collecting data, defining metrics, and measuring quality results Liaise with stakeholders and nurture a collaborative approach to all aspects of work
