Job description

A fantastic opportunity has emerged at a reputable engineering company for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design a range of bespoke components & systems.

You will be actively involved in the full product life cycle – designing components and assemblies to meet a customer’s specification, R&D, NPD, products improvements, calculations, technical reports, BOMs and seeing your design through to testing and manufacture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to take their career to the next level within a well-established company that can offer stability, training and progression. The work is also highly interesting and at the forefront of clean energy markets.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD – Inventor (or similar)
• High precision design / GD&T
• Pressure component design experience e.g. - Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Valves, Pumps (highly desirable)

It is not essential you have all the above skills, but extremely desirable if you do. The role is flexible and there are areas of development on offer.
