The role

As a Human Factors Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll provide a vital role in the production and modification of safety cases and provide technical advice to Plant Managers to support safety critical operations.  

Day to day, you’ll support the development of modern standards safety cases and engineering facilities that support the UK Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programme. You will work within and be supported by a team of human factors professionals who work within the Safety Engineering Team.

This is a full time role (36 hours) mostly based from home and a requirement to be on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard one day per week.

Qualifications for the Human Factors Engineer:


The successful candidate must be a sole UK National and must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
