Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an H&S Manager based in Milton Keynesfor a rapidly growing company.

Salary: Circa £50,000
Location:  Milton Keynes
Type of Contract:Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm – Flexible.
The role…

As the H&S Manageryour role will involve the following important duties:

• Ensure the company meets and exceeds all current legislation.
• Ensure all employees of the business are compliant with health and safety regulations, coaching training and mentoring teams to keep them up to date.
• Review and update health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site safety process reviews, guarding and equipment assessments.
• Identify hazards and risks within the plant and implement changes for improvement.
• Create and review risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments.
• Introduce and maintain a near-miss program.

The experience required…

As a successful H&S Manager,you will have the following:

• University degree or equivalent within a technical discipline.
• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
• At least 3+ years experience within a health and safety role previously.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong understanding of UK  Safety Legislation.
• IT literate with experience using Word and Excel.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
