Job description
Be a key player in a friendly and welcoming g team as a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner for a lovely setting in the Horsham area, West Sussex. Your role will involve supporting the overall development of children through planned activities and collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment. We're looking for an individual with a Level 2 or 3 qualification, a keen understanding of safeguarding principles, and a passion for providing high-quality early education. This is a light and airy nursery with fabulous facilities and purpose built age appropriate rooms. They have a fabulous garden with lots of games and exercise opportunities to engage the children. You will be a ‘key person’ for a small group of children and would be able to choose which age group you would like to work with.

Responsibilities: - Develop individualized plans for children based on ongoing assessments, ensuring that learning activities are tailored to their unique needs
- Establish strong communication channels with parents, conducting regular meetings and providing feedback on children's progress and achievements
- Effectively manage and utilize available resources, ensuring that materials and equipment support the learning goals of the nursery
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment that accommodates the diverse needs of all children, celebrating differences and promoting equality
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Completion of a recognised Level 2/3 Childcare qualification, along with relevant nursery experience of the 0 to 5 years age range
- Good written and verbal skills for providing feedback to parents care givers and colleagues
- Understanding of the EYFS is essential
- Ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment
