As the Clinical Services Theatre Manager your key responsibilities include: - Working closely with Divisional Manager, will participate in the review/develop of the service strategy
- Own and maintain key performance measures for the services, which monitor key outcomes, and demonstrate delivery of ambitious targets to continually improve performance
- Ensure that all staff working within the service are clear about what is expected and are working together in successful teams to achieve the hospital's vision
- Ability to multi-task between hands-on clinical duties if required, people management, rota management and compliance management
- Exercising the authority to resolve day-to-day management issues within the Service
- Providing appropriate input and challenge to clinical and service corrective plans where necessary
- Provide strong visible leadership across the Theatre Suite
- Responsible for ensuring the service works within the regulatory compliance framework, including CQC directives
- Line manage, coach and develop team members and conduct annual performance appraisals in conjunction with the Divisional Manager
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: - Perioperative Practice qualification or ENB 176/183/182 or equivalent
- Experience at a senior level in a large, complex healthcare environment, including staff management, financial management and change management
- Experience of delivering change
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Clinical Services Theatre Manager will receive an excellent salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week.
