X2 Kitchen porter / Cleaner Required - Bedford, Bedfordshire - £11.95 per hour
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider situated on a commercial estate in Bedford. CBW are currently recruiting for Kitchen porter / Cleaner to be based on a commercial building, the successful candidates will have a proven track record in this field.
Details/Hours: - Contract type - Temporary Ongoing
- Days - Monday - Sunday ( 5 days out of the 7 )
- Hours - 7:00am to 18:00pm
- Starting immediately
- Pay rate - £11.95
- Basic DBS required

Key Duties & Responsibilities: - Cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other spaces
- Disposing of waste and following hygiene standards
- Washing and doing laundry
- Changing linens and making beds
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance
- Checking stock levels and replenishing supplies
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations
- Checking in of food deliveries ensures that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the units.
- Ensuring that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed
- Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
- Preparation of service area and/or service points
- Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
- Assist in other unit kitchen onsite during quieter periods in hospitality
- Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
- Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
Requirements: - To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
- Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
- To act in a professional manner at all times
- Be honest, reliable and hard working
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Basic DBS required
