JOB ROLE - Shop Assistant – Key Cutting (Part Time)
**Please be aware that this is NOT a locksmith role **
HOURS - 16-20 hours
SHIFT PATTERN – Monday to Friday no bank holidays.
SHIFT TIMES – 0930-1000 TO 1230-1330 Business dependent
LOCATION - Hartlepool
RATE OF PAY - National Min Wage
HOLIDAYS – Pro rata
JOB DETAILS - Working in a busy traditional locksmith, you will be serving customers who come into
the business for keys to be cut, sales of padlocks, locks, safes and other physical security products.
SKILLS REQUIRED - Previous retail experience strongly preferred, but not essential as
training will be provided throughout probationary period
***Please be aware that this job can at time be dirty & requires working with machinery***
ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Reliable / dependable
Trustworthy – must be able to pass DBS check
Good team work
Be well presented and polite.
Provide excellent customer service
Ability to take and follow instructions
Ability to take down and convey messages & requests
Basic numeracy and written skills
Have a passion for working with the public.
Be able to work under own initiative

Work at pace. This is a busy role.
