Job description
Robert Half Financial Services are recruiting a Financial Controller for a global bank based in the City of London. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Controller is responsible for preparing and reporting the financial information to key stakeholders (FCA regulated entities). It is a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial information is reported so as to meet statutory and regulatory obligations. The Financial Controller will head up a small team.
The Person
The successful Financial Controller for this City of London based global bank will be an ACA qualified accountant with at least four to five years of post qualification experience. Experience within banking, capital markets, a brokerage or a fintech is essential for this role. Ideally this will have been gained in house, however those in the banking and capital markets team of a big 4 firm will also be considered.

Salary & Bonus
The Financial Controller for this City of London based global bank will receive a salary up to £90,000 (highly dependent on experience) plus a competitive discretionary bonus and benefits package.
