Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Didcot. The role involves delivering food and drink to supermarkets using roll cages. This is a physically demanding position that requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Transporting goods to supermarkets safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading roll cages.
- Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensuring timely delivery of products.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
- Valid Class 1 driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work day or night shifts on a rota basis.
- Flexibility with start times: AM shifts between 2:00-12:00, PM shifts between 15:00-00:00.
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
- Willingness to work weekends.
Benefits:
- 2 weeks of training provided.
- Hourly pay rate of £17.90 and overtime is after 45 hours which is time and a half.
