Are you an experienced Data Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer.
As the leading force behind our data infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining systems that enable efficient processing, storage, and analysis of large datasets.
Pay Rate: Up to £28.46
Location : LN2 2LT / Hybrid
Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure.
- Drive data engineering activities to enhance and integrate data from various sources, including first contact with the public, crime intelligence, and back-office operations.
- Ensure the highest quality, availability, usability, and shareability of data through rigorous standard setting and quality control.
- Utilize modern data technologies and platforms, applying data engineering tools and methodologies to excel in your role.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with performance, information, and data analysts specializing in crime, justice, vulnerable populations, and public safety.
Requirements: - Comprehensive knowledge and functional understanding of modern data technologies and platforms.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining data infrastructure.
- Expertise in data engineering tools and methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Commitment to upholding the values of the Force and adhering to the principles of the Code of Ethics.
