Job description
A lovely international family is currently seeking a professional and enthusiastic Nanny (Living In status but with a separate accommodation provided) to their 3 boys aged 9,9and 12 yo.
They come from South America and US and they are looking for someone who is bilingual English / Spanish. This role is permanent, and the family will be doing trials before committing to a contract as they want to make sure that it work perfectly for both sides. The person sought should be a good team player . The family employs a chef, a driver as well as a team of housekeepers,
The nanny will be in charge of the children only, helping with homework, organising their schedules, going to after-school activities, organising playdates, liaising with schools, parents, tutors, etc, organising their clothes, packing their suitcases, making sure everything is ready for the next day, etc.
There is a great atmosphere in the house, they need someone extremely reliable, tidy, hands-on, punctual, and who has great communication skills (with parents and other staff members).
Flexibility is required if parents need to attend last minute dinner or for proxy-parenting.
This wonderful position is based in the beautiful Madrid, Spain
Start date: ASAP (willing to wait if the right person has a notice period not longer than a month).
Days and Hours:
Monday to Friday night/Saturday morning.
6:30 am to 9:00 + 3:00 pm to 9.30/10pm. (Long break during the day because children attend school from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm)
The right candidate will receive a generous packaged salary of 4,000 euros per month is offered (same salary during the school term, school holiday and emergency cover)
The person sought should be a confident driver
Full days during holidays. However the nanny will be on call in case of emergency.
Languages: Bilingual English and Spanish
Accommodation: Separate flat provided nearby the family's house.
Travel: Yes, 3/4 weeks per year Travelling is required for this role, sometimes during weekends, etc.
Pets: a lovely poodle and 1 rabbit
The candidates must hold an EU passport, a clear police and checkable references to be able to apply.
