Adult Learning Coordinator

Wiltshire College & University Centre

Location

Trowbridge, Wiltshire | United Kingdom

Job description

About the role

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the realm of adult education? We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Adult Learning Coordinator. This is not your average 9-to-5 job; it's a chance to make a real difference in the lives of adult learners while engaging with local communities and forging strong partnerships.

The Adult Learning and Commercial Enterprise Department is a vibrant community hub dedicated to lifelong learning and professional growth. Our Adult Learning team is at the forefront of delivering innovative programs and courses that empower adults to achieve their educational and career aspirations.

As our newest Adult Learning Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our mission, supporting all aspects of adult learning across the college. From coordinating enrolment processes to ensuring quality standards are met, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our learners. You'll also have the opportunity to attend exciting events, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and even assist in establishing new curriculum initiatives.

About you

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for juggling multiple tasks? Are you passionate about fostering strong community relationships and meeting the diverse needs of adult learners? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team. While experience in the sector is beneficial, it's not essential - we're more interested in your enthusiasm, organisational skills, and willingness to learn.

You hold GCSE Maths and English at level 2 (GCSE A-C) or equivalent and be ready to take on new challenges. You're self-motivated, empathetic, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

You'll receive extensive training on understanding the Adult Education Budget and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of adult learners.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a dynamic team committed to adult education, we would love to hear from you!
