Job description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join a well-renowned project management firm in Godalming on a part-time basis.
Salary: £25,000 pro rata
The Role
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organise and schedule meetings
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Order site set-ups
- Produce purchase orders
- Maintain contact lists
- Book travel arrangements
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Liaise with Directors and Office Manager to handle requests and queries
- Assist the Office Manager with her roles and responsibilities
Key Skills/Experience
- An ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working with little supervision
- They will be self-motivated and trustworthy
- Experience in a construction/project management environment would be useful but not essential as full training will be given
- They will require experience as an office administrator, office assistant or in a similar role
- Outstanding communication and excellent organisational skills are a must and excellent knowledge of MS Office would be beneficial, especially Excel which is used frequently
- Candidates will need use of their own vehicle due to the location of the office and lack of public transport in the area.
