Job Title: Business Support Officer Achieving for Children
Contract type: Temporary 6months / Ongoing (though opening assignments are often extended by clients on a longerterm basis).

End Time: 17:15 PM
PAYE Rate : 17.93 ph (incl 12.07% holiday pay)
We are currently seeking a Business Support Officer to join our Duty and Assessment team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in providing exceptional business support to internal stakeholders children young people and their families. As a Business Support Officer you will be responsible for managing and responding to requests received in central inboxes maintaining internal databases and ensuring that statutory deadlines are met. Other responsibilities include preparing distributing and writing minutes for multiagency safeguarding meetings.
To be considered for this role you must have a passion for Achieving for Children s vision mission and values including trust empowerment and respect. Additionally you should possess strong administrative skills including the ability to take competent minutes manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team. Strong organizational skills including time management creative thinking problemsolving and multitasking are also essential. The ideal candidate should be able to work well under pressure be flexible in their approach to carrying out tasks and be proficient in using technology to perform functions and ensure that work is timely and accurate.
As a Business Support Officer you will work with a variety of customers in and outside of Achieving for Children. You will report to the Senior Business Support Officer and be responsible for providing competent organised and professional support while handling sensitive and confidential information. Qualifications
Knowledge of working within a childrens service context
GCSE Grade AC (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Ability To Communicate Effectively Both Orally & In Writing To A Wide Range Of People
Teamworking skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
Experience of multiagency working
Self Motivated Flexible & Resourceful
Trustworthy and reliable
To be able to competently minute professional/practitioner meetings and produce an acceptable draft within a specified timescale
Previous experience in similar role
Experience with using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
A commitment to operate in a customer focussed environment
Record keeping and report writing
Ability To Organise Own Workload To Meet Targets & Deadlines
Confident in using ICT to undertake the required functions of the role
