Job description
Quantinuum are looking for an optical engineer intern to join our London team to develop optical components for our trapped-ion quantum computing hardware. As part of the team, this paid internship will allow a successful applicant to gain valuable experience working in a multidisciplinary environment on cutting-edge technology.
Over three months, you will apply your knowledge and experience of experimental physics and will gain insights into quantum technologies. Working in our labs, you will perform testing of optical components that will inform future quantum computing systems. The project will allow you to develop your programming skills to control equipment for automated measurements and analyse experimental data.
This position will be based in our Westminster office in London and will take place between June and September 2024.
