Job description
The Role: This integral role within the Test and Simulation team involves responsibility for NI code writing for verification and validation testing of electrical drive systems, assemblies, and components. The Senior NI LabVIEW Test Engineer will contribute to test planning, design, execution, and reporting, while supporting the Engineering Manager Certification, Test and Simulation and VP of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Write NI LabVIEW code for verification and validation tests on electric drive systems, adhering to relevant engineering standards.
- Generate technical reports evaluating and comparing product performance and statistical data for internal and external use.
- Design test system architecture in alignment with verification and validation plans.
- Process and evaluate collected data to ensure validity and accuracy of tests performed.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot test fixture issues during installation and commissioning.
- Mentor and manage Test Technicians for test jig commissioning and related tasks.
- Support mechanical, electronics, and firmware teams in verification and validation tasks, including pre-compliance testing.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly testing environment following HSE principles.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager.

Experience:- Experience in an engineering development environment, preferably in sectors involving testing of electrical machines (such as Automotive).
- Proven experience in writing technical reports in accordance with verification and validation procedures.
