Early Years Teaching Assistant, Solihull

Monarch Education are currently working alongside a Primary School in the Olton area of Solihull to find a heavily experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to start after the Easter break. You will need to have an outstanding knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum for this role and be confident supporting children across the EYFS. This role is every Monday and Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm from Monday 8th April until Monday 15th July 2024.

Requirements of applicant:

• UK Level 3 Minimum Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
• Experience working with children of EYFS age
• Confident providing personal care to children where necessary

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working in the Early Years setting of the Primary School every Monday and Friday
• Work alongside the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
• Provide regular feedback to parents and senior staff on the progress of the pupil
• Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines

Salary: £9.06 – £13.47 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
