Working Hours: 8:30 am to 15:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS2 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work with either Year 5 or Year 6 students, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote a love for learning and foster academic progress. This is a full-time position involving planning, teaching, assessment, and collaboration with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative methods, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate cross-curricular activities, trips, and events that enrich the curriculum.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and addressing any concerns proactively.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a positive classroom culture and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of educational research, pedagogical trends, and curriculum updates.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, with specific experience in KS2 (Year 5 or 6) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks, with a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Effective organizational skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload effectively.
• A passion for education and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
