Your new company Our client is expanding their team and are seeking a Content Creator & Marketing Assistant on a temporary 12-month full-time contract. You will take the lead on the advertising across the organisation. This opportunity is based in Banham, and we ask that applicants familiarise themselves with the location before applying. Your new role You’ll be responsible for creating regular content for all social media platforms for both businesses and creating marketing strategies, working alongside the business owners to drive the promotion of both businesses forward. Other responsibilities will include:

• Planning, implementing, and monitoring of their social media platforms in order to increase brand awareness, build followers and engage their audience.
• Producing marketing materials, creating, and proofing content across both digital and offline platforms e.g., emails, blog posts, images, graphics, video, ads for print & online media
• Creating seasonal offers, promotions, and targeted campaigns to drive bookings and awareness.
• Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of content across both companies’ websites
• Managing a range of online directory listings, ensuring information is up-to-date.
• Conducting frequent competitor analysis and maintaining knowledge of key marketing trends

What you’ll need to succeed

• Relevant experience in content creating and marketing or a closely related field (desired)
• Basic understanding of key marketing principles
• Basic design experience
• Experience using social media platforms.
• Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, Planoly and WordPress would be advantageous.
• Creating video content & reels would be advantageous.

What you’ll get in return This role is being offered initially as a 12-month FTC, 40 hours per week.
