Assistant Financial Controller required on an ongoing temporary basis based in Solihull for a well established Manufacturing business.
As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management and reporting functions of our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Financial Controller in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to review and analyse financial data.
- Help in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in financial systems and processes.
The Successful Applicant:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
