Job description
Are you passionate about delivering high quality and respectful care and support to individuals in Wellingborough? Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Support Worker to join our friendly and passionate staff team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
You will be based at one of our vibrant supported living services where we provide quality care and support to service users with a range of support needs, primarily learning disabilities. No two days will be the same as our residents love engaging in a range of exciting activities including getting their hair done, going to the pub, gaming and many more!
Your role will include:
- Providing personal care, administering medication and helping with other domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning,
- Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities,
- Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest,
We can discuss full (37.5 hours per week) and part time (minimum 15 per week) flexible shift patterns upon interview to suit both your needs and those of the service you will be working at. Evening and weekend contracts are also available to support the flexible working of our staff members.
Creative Support offers a wide range of training courses and this will be a perfect opportunity for those who are seeking to progress in the health and social care sector. Although previous experience in a similar role to Support Worker is advantageous, we would like to encourage the people with the right values and passion to apply and work to make a difference.
