Job description
Our client specialises in offering life-insurance-based wealth management and employee benefit solutions to a global audience is seeking to recruit an Accountant, Wealth Solutions Finance, Guernsey.
Overall purpose of the role:
• To provide accounting support to the Wealth Solutions Finance department primarily in relation to the Singapore and Swiss Branch.
• To post all journal entries, prepare quarterly management accounts and annual audited financial statements for the Singapore Branch and the Swiss Branch.
• To prepare all regulatory returns on a quarterly and annual basis for the Singapore Branch and the Swiss Branch.
• To correspond with external audit, external appointed actuaries and tax consultants during the annual audit and tax submission process
• To liaise with internal actuarial and other colleagues to gain accurate information, commentary and explanations for account movements and balances.
The successful candidate will be:
• A qualified accountant with ideally 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry
• Understanding of and experience in accounting & financial reporting
• Tech savvy with experience in Microsoft365, SAP, advanced Excel skills
