Job description

What you will do in your working day

You will assist the project team to provide support and development on Disease Specific Programmes (DSPs), gaining a good understanding of all stages within the research process and a basic knowledge of research techniques.

Our data focuses on patients in the real world, outside of the scope of clinical trials with key research around patient experience with their disease. This includes things such as treatments received and the overall quality of life of patients.

Bio-pharmaceutical clients and healthcare organisations use our data sets to further understand the disease area, often publishing the outcomes to help the development of treatments as well as for Physician education.

Your personal development plan will include on the job experience and focused training on project, supplier and people management skills to support progression towards a management role.

The training you will be getting

The role includes studying for a BA (hons) Business Management Professional degree as part of the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship programme with Manchester Metropolitan University at their All Saints campus on Oxford Road. If the apprentice does not have qualifications equivalent to GCSE English and Maths C/4 or above, they may be required to undertake Functional Skills training.

Apprentices also gain Chartered Manager (CMgr) status if they successfully complete their end-pointassessment.

Adelphi supports and encourages rapid development and progress we a programme of on the job and Academy programme training. We hope our successful candidates will stay in Adelphi and progress to a Managerial position.
