Our client provides innovative medical consultancy services to identify, manage and mitigate medical risk, and ground-breaking trauma and pre-hospital medical training to a range of clients from across the world. Working with a range of sectors including the military, emergency services and with some of the world’s best known corporations from multiple sectors including the media, technology, energy, exploration and specialist manufacturing.
Renowned for providing a high level of medical expertise and tailored support worldwide, this is a rare opportunity to augment the already dynamic and close-knit team by taking responsibility for the key Energy sector.
Building upon already established relationships and customer agreements, this high growth and diverse division ranges from traditional Oil & Gas, through to the fast developing renewable energy sectors that include Wind, Solar, Hydro, and finally sustainable sources including Nuclear and Hydrogen.
Established as one of the most innovative service providers within this bespoke consulting and technical training services environment, you will have the autonomy to influence, shape and deliver against an ambitious sales plan, while being able to draw upon the considerable technical support plus resources of a major international parent company.

Salary: £ six-figure potential package (including substantial basic + car allowance + structured bonus + large company benefits)
The Role
- A high profile and key role contributing to the business development strategy.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across a number of market sectors, with particular focus on the Energy space, with other secondary sectors including manufacturing and specialist engineering.
- Manage your sales pipeline end-to-end; prospecting, qualifying and securing client meetings for the clinical team while also reporting on developments and ultimate outcomes.
- Set up meetings with potential customers at senior level, and working in tandem with the expert clinical team who will evaluate specific client needs and recommend medical consultancy and training solutions.
- Maintain high level awareness of developments within the Energy sector plus associated industries and organisations.
- Organise diary to attend relevant events, conferences and trade shows.
The Person
- Consultative sales background with a particular focus on devising and selling tailored solution based / added-value propositions in a professional Business to Business capacity.
- Experienced business development professional with a track record of working at a senior level on multiple strategic projects.
- Relationship led approach with the ability to identify and engage with key decision makers via multiple sales channels and networking platforms.
- Sufficiently motivated, organised and disciplined to manage own sales pipeline while coordinating and optimising resources available from within a close-knit team.
- Specific medical knowledge not required, although the ability to understand specific business needs and in turn propose integrated / multi-layered service offerings in a precise and simple format that meet those needs.
- Assured, driven and persuasive nature with distinct service orientation that promotes high standards, corporate image, plus excellent service delivery to customers.
- Experience of, plus strong insight into the Energy industry and its segmentation across various sectors, both established plus emerging technologies, including an understanding of functional levels as well as individuals operating within.
- Highly mobile, the successful individual will be prepared to travel extensively in order to achieve market coverage (approx. 50%) plus anticipated growth and associated career ambitions.
