Digital Communications Volunteer

Respect for All

Location

Eccles, Greater Manchester | United Kingdom

Job description

Digital Communications Volunteer to help a charity which provides mental wellbeing support for neurodivergent people across Greater Manchester.

What will you be doing?

Respect for All is a small CIO, providing counselling for learning disabled and/or autistic people of all ages. We have no office base, and we work completely remotely to keep core costs to a minimum.

Our services are delivered via our bank of 32 specialist counsellors that are employed on a sessional basis.  Our counsellors offer a mix of diversity, skills, expertise, availability, and flexibility, plus a wide range of counselling delivery methods allowing us to link clients with specific needs to the most appropriate counsellor. This is achieved via our bespoke and client led assessment process, which the client coordinator completes with every new referral.

Our vision is that all neurodivergent and learning-disabled communities should have access to specialist and inclusive therapeutic wellbeing services.

Our mission is to deliver and influence the need for specialist therapeutic wellbeing services which are client focussed, accessible and inclusive for neurodivergent and/or learning-disabled communities, including their families and carers.
