Are you looking for a rewarding career in hospital pharmacy as a progressive Band 6 to Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist?
We are looking for Band 6 Rotational Pharmacists to join the team and help shape the pharmacy service whilst developing into Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists. Developmental support is available from the established Pharmacy Clinical and Education Teams.
This post attracts an additional Recruitment and Retention Premium of £5,000 payable over 2 years.
All training, education and diploma fees are fully covered by the trust.
University Hospital Dorset was created merging two hospitals; the Bournemouth site is developing into the major emergency care hospital and Poole site into the major planned care hospital.
The patient is at the centre of all that we do and our strategy is to provide a pharmacy service that has medicines optimisation at its heart. EPMA (Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration) has been implemented across the whole trust.
The Pharmacy Team

Rotations will be supported by a training package alongside support from specialist pharmacists and accredited pharmacy technicians. You will complete the Newly Qualified Pharmacist training programme, undertake the Clinical Pharmacy Diploma and have the opportunity to progress to the Independent Prescribing qualification.

Please be aware candidates must meet the criteria below
• MPharm or equivalent or pending
• Registered (or eligible to be) as a Pharmacist in the UK with the GPhC
Eligibility for relocation costs can be discussed should you be required to relocate if you live more than 40 miles from the Trust and are already a resident in the UK
This role requires GPhC Registration.
