Job description

Ward Security is looking for a committed Night Security Reception Officer to become a valuable member of our team based at Great Dover Street, located c.600 metres south of London Bridge and Borough Market, c.50 metres from Borough Underground Station (Northern Line) and under 10 minutes walk of London Bridge Station (Network South-East, Thameslink, Northern and Jubilee Lines)

Position: Night Security Reception Officer
Pay rate: £11.95
Location: 4 on 4 off- nights only
Shift Pattern: 200 Great Dover Street, London, SE1 4YB

Must Have:
• Valid SIA licence
• Previous Cooperate Security experience (min 1year)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic IT skills
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation

Main Responsibilities
• Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
• Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.
• Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
• Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorised by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
• Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers, and direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
