BASIC SUPERVISION SKILLS

Improve your organization’s mentoring and mentee efforts. Mentoring is an essential skill for leaders at all levels to use to develop productive employees and build effective teams. In this course, you will explore strategies to develop an effective learning partnership between a mentor and mentee. You will define the manager's role in the process and identify and develop the key mentoring skills you need to be successful. Mentoring Skills is facilitated as a half-day course. Mentee Skills is taught as a separate half-day class.

MOVING FROM STAFF TO SUPERVISOR

This course is designed to address the needs of individuals new to managing others as supervisors or in similar capacities. This multi-day workshop is designed to help project managers build practical skills beyond the basics of project management fundamentals. The focus is on teaching experienced project managers to adapt the proven processes and procedures of project management into stepping stones that enable them to survive and thrive on projects. Project management “tips and tricks” focused on but seldom used and effective techniques and approaches will also be addressed in this three-day session. SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION (FOR MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS)
( Classroom : One-half day; up to twenty-five participants - Live Webinar : 1.5 – 3 hours; up to twenty-five participants)

Satisfy the new legal mandate requiring all employers with 50 or more employees to provide at least two hours of sexual harassment prevention training to all supervisory employees. This two-to-four hour highly interactive and dynamic workshop covers the essentials and related issues necessary to help prevent sexual harassment in your workplace. This workshop is recommended for supervisory and non-supervisory personnel. This workshop satisfies the requirements of California Assembly Bills 1825 and AB 2053.
