UK Vapour Brands is at the forefront of vaping in the UK, valuing honesty, integrity and putting our customer first. We have been changing the world of vaping since 2008, with a clear purpose of ’empowering smokers to transform their lives’ through the sale of the highest quality and most diverse range of e-cigarette and e-liquid products to independent/multi-site vaping stores. As part of our on-going expansion, we are now recruiting for a Content Creator to join our team in Accrington.
This role is to primarily manage the continued growth of The Electronic Cigarette Company through engaging and SEO-rich content such as product listings, category copy and a host of post-optimisation tasks. The aim is to be best in class for content, news, reviews and various vape support. Also, where required, assist in creating video content for the website and social media channels.
What you’ll be doing:
- Produce well written content for the website including blogs, product listings and categories.
- Film video reviews for our YouTube channel and social media.
- Responses to the latest news articles / Daily checks across all news outlets to keep finger on the pulse
- Eyes on competitor blogs like Ashtray, ET & Vape Club to continually compete and exceed on content
- Industry based articles which can be shared on LinkedIn
- How-to guides and other vape support articles
- Conduct keyword research and devise keyword strategy in conjunction with e-commerce manager/external retained agency
- Monitor competitor activity
- Analyse and report on effectiveness of articles/campaigns
- Follow SEO best practices and integrate supplied keywords and phrases effectively into copy.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output in all written materials.
About you:
- Able to create content from an idea to publishing.
- Demonstrate copywriting skills across a broad range of mediums.
- Must be comfortable taking an idea and/or brief and turning it into amazing content
- Basic understanding of SEO
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to over-achieve and be motivated by success
- Must be willing to understand vaping as a subject matter
- Proficient in persuasive writing to support sales when needed
- Able to edit and proofread own work and that of others
- Comfortable conducting research on vape industry news and trends.
- Language competency: Fluent in written and spoken English
- Must be confident on camera.
- Basic photo / video editing skills (Adobe After Effects)
- Collaborative working.
