Salary:                                         £25,147-£27,596

Hours / Pattern of work:              37.5 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday.

Type of contract:                         Permanent

Applications are invited for an experienced B4 Medical Secretary to provide secretarial and administration support to the Consultants and Medics on the Adult Mental Health Wards at The Harbour.  This will be providing cover across the wards as necessary.

The services provided include community nursing, health visiting and a range of therapy services including physiotherapy, podiatry and speech & language. The Trust specialises in inpatient services, including rehabilitation services and community mental health services.

 

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be offered full on the job training. You will need advanced word processing and audio typing skills.  You will need experience of live typing in reviews on a daily basis.  The Service Users will be in attendance for part of these meetings.  You will need previous Secretarial experience.  The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the secretarial team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.  The successful applicants will require a flexible approach and the ability to work across other sites if required for the needs of the service.

This post is subject to standard DBS Disclosure and the successful applicant will be required to pay for their DBS check.
