Job Advert: Electrical Design Engineer – Motors and Generators

Are you passionate about renewable energy and want to be a part of a dynamic team that designs cutting-edge electrical products for the future? We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Motors and Generators to join our innovative renewable energy company.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in designing electrical/electronic products, with a focus on Rotating Machines being advantageous.
• Familiarity with Hazardous Area product compliance (IECEx and ATEX).
• Proficient in Control Systems, including VFDs, PLCs, and related technologies.
• Experience in designing Control Panels and layouts.
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical products with a focus on Motors and Generators for renewable energy applications.
• Ensure compliance with Hazardous Area product standards such as IECEx and ATEX.
• Work on Control Systems including VFDs, PLCs, and related technologies.
• Create detailed CAD designs for electrical components and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product integration.

Salary: Up to £50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
